Amazing to think we've won two in a row over Antrim. Unthinkable only 3 years ago.

That should read three in a row badger. Bodes well.

Hurlers got a bit of a pasting last night. Anybody know what happened. Surely we could have shut the game down particularly at this time of the year.

the 4 goals were very soft. both teams were missing players.
the lads will be disappointed but lots of positives to take from game.
its all about getting over kildare now before heading to london 6 days later. neither game will be easy.

Meath fought hard v Dublin and gave them a tough contest. Mistakes were clinically punished by Dublin and the dubs also were a slicker outfit with movement, touch and physicality. Lots to take and learn out of this game which should stand to us for games v Kildare and London coming up. Plenty of squad got game time over these two Walsh cup games. Another note the Abbotstown venue is a credit, lovely stand and pitch with surface that only Croke Park could match even in January.

Went to watch the hurling team play Wednesday didn't think they did to bad. Dublin forwards very efficient. The goals killed us. Can anyone tell me is Kevin Keena on the panel I noticed from the report of the Antrim game he didn't play and didn't notice him on Wednesday either. Does anyone know if he is out injured because he lit up the club championship last year he was absolutely wonderful. In my opinion he is the best forward in the county

By "shut the game down" do you mean actually win or just lose respectably?

While they've fallen a bit from the heights of the Daly era (5 years ago now....) Dublin are still light years ahead of Meath and it'd be miraculous for us to get close to them in a match.
