County champions Summerhill, Kilbride, Clann na nGael and Na Fiannaare back in Leinster action this weekend.
After their win over Longford’s Killoe Young Emmets, Summerhill make the journey to Cedral St Conleths Park in Newbridge for the Leinster Club Senior Football Championship quarter final. The Keegan Cup holders take on Athy who defeated Naas in the county final and opened their Provincial campaign with a win over Baltinglass in Aughrim. The winners take on Naomh Mairtin of Louth or Portarlington (Laois) in the semi final.
Kilbride return to the scene of their memorable county final win for a Leinster IFC semi final meeting with Sallins of Kildare. The Mattie McDonnell Cup winners recovered from a slow start to beat Ardagh Moydow in their opening round at Pearse Park Longford. The winners take on Offaly’s Clara or Round Towers Lusk from Dublin in the last four.
After their comfortable 3-20 to 2-8 win over Kilkenny’s Glenmore, Clann na nGael travel to the Netwatch Carlow Training Centre for a quarter final clash with Carlow champions Fighting Cocks. The winners take on St. Brigids Killashee (Longford) or Wicklow’s Shillelagh Coolboy in the semi final.
Meath senior champions Na Fianna will be hoping to follow in Dunboyne’s footsteps when they head to SETU Carlow to take on Camross in the Leinster Club Intermediate Camogie final on Sunday.
