Eoghan McDermott got the Brews Hill side off to a positive start with a well finished goal after 3 minutes. Photos

Sebastian Snow and Captain Max Condon added points before Trim got off the mark with a pointed free. This was quickly followed by O’Mahonys points from Oisin Finnegan, Condon and Snow for a 65.  Trim battled and never let the difference get greater than 7 points by half time.

With O’Mahonys facing a very strong breeze starting the second half they had a huge battle to keep Trim at bay. The teams traded points for the next 4 scores after half time with the point of the match coming from Max Condon from an acute angle.

Trim went on a brief run with 2 good points in a row however Daniel Carolan displayed great composure in goals for O’Mahonys and full backs Matthew Moran and Luke Casey won and cleared ball after ball.

The industrious Luke Brady and Seb Snow won the midfield battle over the hour with some vital interceptions, tenacious tackling and clever use of the ball. The future is bright for the blue and white
