Just a couple of weeks after a fake road sign at the N5 roundabout in Castlebar pointing the way to Sam Maguire was removed by Mayo County Council, another one has been spotted less than a mile down the road.

The cheeky sign, which looks just like the real thing, informs motorists that it's 238km to Sam Maguire and also includes the score of Mayo's All-Ireland SFC semi-final win over Dublin. Mayo's All-Ireland final opponents Tyrone also feature on the sign beside a sad face emoji.

The previous All-Ireland final-related road sign was removed because of the potential for it to cause confusion and compromise road safety. The identity of those responsible for erecting the sign remains unknown.
