Sheelan Cup: We suffered a heavy defeat in this competition last Thursday night. We started well and were level just before the half time whistle but ended up four points down at the break. Things did not get any better in the second half where the visitors were totally dominant and ran out easy winners. We are still short a few players and its down to the serious business of the start of the division two league next Friday night when we visit Young Irelands in Dundalk. Best of luck to the team and management; let’s get off to a winning start. Also best of luck to our under 13’s and under 15’s and their mentors who also start their league campaign’s this Wednesday and next Monday evening’s.
