We are delighted to be able to open our facilities again after football was on hold for so long. Its great to see so much activity once again with McGeough Park packed out every night with training and matches. We are grateful to those who are working quietly in the background keeping our club going and to those who worked effortlessly on preparing the grounds to ensure a smooth return.

Our Senior Men have started their campaign winning 2 out of 2 in their Paddy Sheelan Cup fixtures so far, with our Senior Ladies also victorious in their opening fixture against the Pats. Our 2 Junior Ladies sides recorded a win and a loss in their fixtures on Friday evening.

We wish a speedy recovery to Jim McEneaney and Kevin Pepper who picked up injuries in the recent matches and we look forward to seeing them back on the pitch as soon as possible.

A special mention to Dan and Matt Corcoran and to our Ladies Eilis, Rebecca and Holly who have done a great job in representing their counties and we congratulate both Louth GAA and Louth LGFA on their winning streaks so far.  Well done to Feidhelm and Mattie on their Louth GAA hurling success.  Once again, we have several underage players on Louth’s Development Squads and we wish them well with their 2021 inter county campaigns.

All our underage teams are back training, with fixtures taking place for many. As always you can get all up to date information on our social media platforms and we would encourage all parents and supporters to sign up to ClubZap which contains details of all club news including fixtures.

We wish all of our teams the best of luck for 2021 and please remember to adhere to the government guidelines with regard to attendances at training and matches.
