League Final day in the Gaelic Grounds

(Oldest Posts First)

I see the finals of the leagues are down for this Monday in the Gaelic Grounds. In the first game Kildimo/ Pallaskenry v Glenroe and in the Main event Garryspillane v na Piarsaigh.. who do ye think will win? Are the county players able to play? Should this game really be played in the Gaelic grounds or would bruff have been more suited to the four teams and their supporters??

players may want to play in gaelic grounds but for supporters it really takes from the game, what will be there 500?.Bit like the City senior hurling final which should have been played in mungret a smaller venue would create a better buzz.

I think there are positives and negatives to playing the matches in the gaelic grounds, it gives a chance for players who never played in the gaelic grounds to play there but i think personally it is going to ruin the perception of the match...there will be no atmosphere and no matter what skill the players bring to the contest it will be very hard to create an atmosphere... a;so i think it will suit na piarsaigh more than the bouncers to play this game in the gaelic grounds.... who do ye think will win anyway?
