Team news: Rebels opt to give youth a fling

Cork manager Kieran Kingston has named a youthful side to take on All-Ireland champions Limerick in Division 1 of the Allianz Hurling League at the LIT Gaelic Grounds tomorrow evening.

Patrick Collins replaces his brother Ger in goal, while Damien Cahalane, the elder statesman on the team at 28, Niall O’Leary, Ger Millerick and Mark Coleman come into the defence. Elsewhere, St Finbarr’s clubman Billy Hennessy is brought into midfield as Shane Kingston, Robbie O’Flynn, Declan Dalton and Jack O’Connor return in attack.

In all, there are ten changes following the 7-27 to 0-15 win over Westmeath in round 3, with team captain Patrick Horgan named among the substitutes.
