County Team

The County boys finished their League campaign on Sunday last with another loss to Antrim. They had a lethargic first half and at one stage they were 10 down but they staged an amazing recovery to draw level but Antrim scored a last minute point to win. Mohill had five representatives and all played very well, Keith Beirne, Keith Keegan, James Mitchell, Shane Quinn and Oisín Madden. Domhnaill Flynn is taking a year out.

County Ladies

The ladies made it two wins out of two when the beat a strong Derry team on Sunday last in Ballinamore. The score was 1-18 to 0-7 and Charlene Tyrell played her heart out.

Bingo

All the Bingo followers will be delighted to see the Drive-in Bingo is starting in the Philly McGuinness Park on Monday next the June 7 at 8.30. for further enquiries contact 0879827357.

Cash for Clobber

Cash for Clobber is in full swing now. Bring your unwanted clothes, linen, bags and shoes to the Park on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm.

Kevin Casey RIP

We send our deepest condolences to the Casey family, Nicole, Phillip and John and their families on the untimely death of their brother Kevin on Saturday last. All three brothers played at some stage for Mohill. Kevins two little nieces play underage at present and his brother-in-law Padraic Kiernan is the Treasurer of the Mohill Park and Leisure Committee. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

New Building

The building is flying up now under local builder Padraig Bohan. The fundraising continues and there is great interest in the big Draw the Mohill Park Committee is holding with the big prize, a new Opel Corsa car plus many others. Zoom Meeting 

Mohill GAA Healthy Club is holding a Zoom Meeting about performance and mentality on Wednesday June 2 from 7 to 8.30pm.with guest speakers David Brady former Mayo player, David Clarke also a Mayo goalkeeper and Niall Brady Leitrim player and nutritionist with the senior team. This will be extremely helpful for the mental wellbeing of the players and mentors of the club.
