Mohill

Fit Kicks Sponsorship

A big thank you to Paul Kilgannon and Jacinta Rowley of Fit Kicks Gym in Mohill who very generously donated a top class defibrillator and heated box to Mohill GAA Healthy Clubs. We are very grateful and it is not alone a great addition to the club but to the wider community. We thank our Health Officer Geraldine Walpole for all the work completed since she took over and a special word of thanks to Tony McNabola for putting the defibrilator up at the main entrance visible to all, as it should be

Cups on Tour

The Ladies and the Senior men with their respective cups had numerous photo shoots with the nursery children and their parents on Saturday morning. The players led by captains Danny and Deirdre are great role models for all the young boys and girls and everyone in the club is very proud of them all. We thank all the coaches of these young children, led by their captain Claire Quinn for their endless work and good humour all summer in extremely difficult conditions.  A big thank you to all the coaches for all the underage and adult teams who gave so much of their time this year when everything was so unreal. We pray to God that everyone will stay safe and that this virus will be controlled soon..

New Arrivals

We congratulate former player Paul Kivlehan and his wife Mary on the birth of their first baby, a little girl and they are calling her Cáit! Her grandfather Sylvester has a County Championship medal with Mohill from 1971 and both himself and Annette are delighted with their new granddaughter.

We also send our best wishes to Róisín Keegan and her husband Tony Kelly on the birth of their little boy Oisín.  Its Padraig and Rose Keegan’s first grandchild.  The first of many le cúnamh Dé.

Bingo in the Park

Drive-in Bingo will continue in Mohill GAA Park weather permitting from week to week. The weather has been kind to this fundraise so far, with large crowds attending each night. The money is great, with a jackpot of €500 and €1500 in prizes. There is also a raffle with great prizes. This Monday we had a voucher from Shampooch Grooming Salon. We thank all the crew who come out to help every Monday.
