Junior B Final

The second string came up against a fit and fast Drumkeerin side smarting from a disappointing Intermediate exit. The North Leitrim boys gave as good as they got and nothing separated the teams at the full time whistle and well into extra time. Barry Lupton was on fire in the end and scored 6great points to give us a narrow two point win.  The panel and scorers was. J Farry, C Kennedy, L Rowley 1-0, R Bohan, A Tuthill, O Madden, K Flynn, C Canning, J Reynolds, J Boyle 0-2, D Gordon 0-1, N Flynn, E Harkin 0-,1 A McLoughlin 0-1, P O’Neill, B Lupton 0-6, S Kennedy, D McLoughlin, R Murphy. They play Allen Gaels in the final next Sunday. Good Luck to all concerned.

Neighbours in finals

Cloone and, Aughavas play in the Junior A final at the weekend and Gortletteragh and Annaduff play out the Intermediate one. We wish them all great things but especially Cloone as we are joined in underage. Gortletteragh also holds a special place as the boys celebrate always in Mohill. God keep them all safe.

Under 13

These plucky young lads had a narrow win in difficult conditions in Manorhamilton on Friday last. They now play friendly rivals St Mary’s in the Shield Final at the weekend. The panel in no particular order is Caoimhiín McHugh, Darren Brennan, Kodey Tighe, Ryan  Gordon 0-2, Eoin Reilly, David Murphy, Frankie McManus 1-3, Eoin McNamara, John Macklin 1-0, Kevin McNamara 0-1, Rian Walpole 0-1, Dean Reynolds, Michael Cunningham, Niall McCrann 1-0, Shane Mayock 1-0, Paul Bohan 0-1, Jack Casey.  

 Bingo in the Park

Drive-in Bingo will continue in Mohill GAA Park weather permitting from week to week. The weather has been kind to this fundraise so far, with large crowds attending each night. The money is great, with a jackpot of €500 and €1500 in prizes. There is also a raffle with great prizes. We thank an anonymous club member for donating €50 towards Monday’s raffle.

There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €1100 the numbers drawn were 11-14-16-20. We thank anyone who helped out with the Senior Final expenses. As the businesses are still going through difficult times they were not approached directly.  But we thank everyone who donated generously without being asked. The team showed their gratitude in Pairc Seáin on Sunday 27.
