St Rynagh’s put Offaly SHC titles back-to-back with an impressive 1-19 to 1-13 win against Kilcormac-Killoughey at a rain-drenched Bord na Mona O'Connor Park.
Despite teenager Lochlann Kavanagh pouncing for a 10th minute goal for Kilcormac-Killoughey, the Banagher-based side held a deserved 0-11 to 1-4 lead by half-time.
Kavanagh fired over on the resumption to trim the margin down to three and further points from Conor Mahon and Dylan Murray left just two in it going into the final quarter.
But St Rynagh's produced the goods late on with Aaron Kenny blasting to the net to give them them a 1-13 to 1-8 lead as the holders managed to close out the contest.
