Laois GAA has decided that its county board meetings will no longer be open to the media.
LaoisToday.ie reports that the board has decided to hold its meetings ‘in camera’, bringing an end to a long-standing arrangement which goes back generations.
The first meeting of 2021 in the O’Moore County took place virtually last night with delegates from all clubs in attendance, however media were not allowed to access the meeting online.
Laois county board have not yet specified why the decision to hold its monthly meetings ‘in camera’ has been taken.
