Dublin ladies captain Sinead Aherne made a little bit of history this evening following her side’s All-Ireland SFC final win against Cork.
The victory saw the St Sylvester's star become the first ever player to captain a team to four successive TG4 All-Ireland titles.
In producing the second-half goods, Mick Bohan’s side came from three points down to defeat their Munster counterparts by 1-10 to 1-5 at Croke Park.
Aherne proudly raised the Brendan Martin Cup on her county’s behalf afterwards, marking a fourth consecutive All-Ireland final success for the capital women.
