Should be a good game. Seriously impressed with our lads wednesday night. They certainly won't fear the dubs.

No venue yet. Can't be Navan so hopefully Portlaoise

Portlaoise confirmed.

The lads have been impressive in both games so far, however one wonders about the quality of the opposition. Kildare can only beat what's in front of them and they have done that in emphatic fashion. No doubt there is an abundance in talent in this squad and it will take some team to beat them. Dublin will be a stern test and hopefully Kildare can claim the honours. Chris Healy and Neil Flynn is as good of a forward line as you'll get at this level. 2 superb footballers.

Portlaoise not available due to 'urgent remedial work required' on the pitch!

Looked fine last Wednesday.

Very strange decision to move the match to the 2nd aswell, huge disrespect to both teams who would have been planning ahead and will now no doubt have to alter their training plans.

Also frustrating for those of us who were planning to go but won't be around for it now on the Saturday !

I assume it also means none of the u21s will be available for the last round of the league v Clare on the Sunday which is a shame if we still need a result, depending on Tipp result.

Irionic how Dublin will happily play Kildare in Navan on Saturday week but only a few weeks ago refused to play Meath in Navan on a Saturday afternoon. Portlaoise would suit Kildare more at least from a fans perspective. Last year the Dubs argued for Navan rather than Portlaoise and got their way. I would love to know what this sudden "remedial work" consists of. If this work was scheduled why was the U21 Final fixed for Portlaoise in the first place?

Best wishes to the lads tomorrow. Should be a great game - two strong teams and both benches will probably play a big part too.

Also it's great to see that O'Moore Park in Portlaoise has recovered sufficiently after the 'urgent remedial work', just in time for the Laois v Meath game on Sunday.

Hard luck to the lads. Gave it their all right to the end . I'm sure we'll see plenty of them in the senior squad in the not too distant future. Three at the moment but would expect to see 3 or 4 more coming in shortly. Maybe that was what Cian O'Neill was alluding to earlier in the year when he said there would be players coming in at different stages of the year.

Amateur time over in Roscommon leaving the Dublin fans stranded.A disgraceful treatment of genuine GAA fans ,many of whom will have brought kids. Not good enough waiting until away fans are on their way to decide. I am sure there are reasonably clever people in the Rossies set up who could have made the call last night. Coaches and clubs all around the country would have done this yesterday evening ,with no bother.

Cracking game yesterday. Hope to see a good few of these fellas in the senior set up this year.

What probably lost it is the long term Kildare problem of playing the game too slow. Loads of natural forwards in that team, and if it was the 1990s they would have had an all Ireland. The modern game is completely different though and it's time to catch up and get with the times. We need to take a serious look at how the game is played in the county and make sure we produce the players who can play at pace with direct running. Dublin coach a system into their players from 13-14 and to stand any chance of catching them on the hop Kildare need to come up with a culture of their own.
