Former Sligo manager Niall Carew is to be part of the Naas senior football management team for the coming year.

Carew will link up with manager Niall Cronin and his role has been defined as coach/selector as clubs look to confirm management teams.

Other clubs to confirm their management teams include St Laurences who have appointed Tadhg Fennin and Raheens who have turned to Frank Hanniffy.

Earlier this week, it was announced that former Westmeath and Longford manager Luke Dempsey was taking over Johnstownbridge.

County champions Sarsfields are expected to be on the look out for a new manager as are Moorefield with Ross Glavin joining up with the Kildare management team.
