A shocking display from this Galway team. Relegation is now a definite possibility. We don't deserve to be in Div 1. Like Corofin Moycullen have very few county standard players. Sean Kelly is just about there but none of the others are at that standard. Molloy and Silke are a huge loss as of course is Walsh.

I can't think of any games where Flynn dominated aerial ball - please enlighten us and its nothing to do with him not being "my cup of tea"!

Galways two best forwards injured and they only lost by a point.Yes they should have won but please stop the panic.Sean Kelly is a brilliant player and he is more than able for county but that poor lad has been playing and training at an extremely high level for at least 15 months with no break. He is only human.

Its obvious Kelly needs to be rested. Just beat Monaghan and Armagh or Donegal and we are safe. Molloy a massive loss as is Silke and Shane our top player. Bear in mind Rossies bate Tyrone well last week. Looks bad no score in what 25 minutes.

Terrible Terrible football and performance from Galway.
They were clueless against the Rossies 14 men behind the ball.
Rossies were no better but they knew Galway stop playing always after 55 mins and decided to go for it..
Sideline have a lot to answer for .
But with injuries to Molloy, Finnerty, Comer, Culhane , Silke and Walshs continued absence we could be looking at relegation

Best wishes to Damien Comer on his injury.

No need to panic indeed. But we are in a spot of bother and relegation could raise its ugly head . Rossie are a poor outfit and we should have picked up handy points here.

As regards the other debate raging. FOC and Flynn owe Galway nothing. FOC was plagued with injuries and Flynn was tough as nails. Let them enjoy their twilight years with there clubs in peace without this nonsense. They both had had many years of stress on there bodies particularly Flynn as a dual club player.

Unfortunately it's looking like relegation now especially with no Walsh and comer , Galway no forwards at all sad when u think of a county of its size but I suppose when management don't bother looking outside of 2-3 clubs that's what happens ,,

I'll take that as a no to my question, which is in line with my own recall.

whats Comers injury lads. Any word. Look Roscommon are a league team and fair play to them but we have shipped too many players from squad that we cant afford to lose. Its not looking like we will scale heights of 2022 but its early days.

He was certainly a lot better than Flynn in winning aerial ball as far as I can "recall" and I take it that your no response to my question confirms that!

Awful performance, looking like relegation.. Hopefully we can qualify for Sam, looking unlikely. We were a bad div 2 team today, no plan or system. No forwards, depending on 3 or 4 clubs to make up a county panel is bad mgt.

Will be tough to stay up with no Walsh, Comer and Finnerty. That's Galway's 3 main scoring forwards and the replacements are just not of the same quality. They aren't in any county really. Even Culhane is injured and he's also a scoring forward who was in good form.

Bit unlucky today. A draw would probably have been a fair result but got caught pushing up looking for the winner right at the end. Ref blew against Glynn for some reason and Roscommon had a free and loads of space to attack in.

Absolutely terrible game of football though. Both teams with almost everyone behind the ball. Ball going sideways and backwards for most of the game. Hope Comer is ok. Didn't look good when they called the stretcher so quickly though.

It was not good no doubt but I knew that Galway have no consistent forwards outside of Walsh, Comer and Finnerty when they are on form - Culhane may yet get to that level. Unfortunately Conroy seems to have come to the end of his long career now - it was very strange that he wasn't taken off today but he owes nothing to Galway football. Questions will again be asked of the management after that no show today against a fairly average Roscommon team and everyone would accept that (even Roscommon people). Scoring just 8 points for the second week in a row is not good and I know they also scored 2 goals against Mayo.

Wow we really are dependent on Comer and Walsh for scores....kick away from winning the All Ireland last year to just 0-08..... the worst and lowest score of all 4 Divisions 16 matches!!
We are lucky Monaghan are absolutely certs to be relegated, but jez We better get our fingers out and win the home games v Tyrone and Monaghan to have any chance!

Today was as bad as anything I saw even under AM. With Comer gone, hopefully he will be ok, we have no player able to field a long kickout, and we have no plan in place to try and find a man with medium or long kicks. Not for the first time seemingly crazy sub calls midway through the second half, none of which improved the team. On the positive if there is any, Ross, Mayo and Armagh were all at full strength today, the Mayo game was a classic played at All Ireland Final pace and passion. Missing 3 All Stars in Silke, Comer and Shane, and the loss of Molloy and Finnerty are massive for us. Galway looked like a team that had a training session yesterday.

And when Galway played defensive last year it was glorious I suppose. Get the lemon out of your mouth.

Not like you to be negative kicitout!

Can you name some of the players that you see that aren't there at the moment because I may be missing something. Comer and Finnerty on top of Walsh are loses no team can cope with. Defensively good in both games but up front we are simply missing too many players at the moment. Having said that today we should have closed that out. Johnny heaney two terrible turnovers and Gallagher poor kick blocked.

Things not going their way moment. In relegation fight no doubt. Between Galway Donegal and Monaghan

Our forward play let us down big time. I guess missing 4 of our 6 starting AI forwards did not help but the lack of impact on bench again a big worry. No excuses for not scoring in the last 20 but no need to panic just yet.
