Not sure what the plan is lad. Maybe McEniff has a few hotelier friends that are helping out!

it'll be worse on the way home after a hard game"
That's rough all right, our lads had to drive to monaghan last Friday a fair old jaunt as well but at least they had a lot of motorway, still it would be boring on your own.

Why couldn't it be played at 7pm underlights! That would be a lovely Football match to sit down and watch on the TV for a Saturday evening in Lockdown.

Don't have a conniption.
The McEniffs are well known hoteliers and GAA people. I wasn't suggesting the hotels in Tralee all open their doors for business just because our lads are in town. Merely that a favour may be called upon. A port in a storm so to speak.

Seems to have a weird issue with a team travelling the length of Ireland and needing a room for the night ...

It's ok the ambulance drivers, front line workers, HSE staff ect ect who actually are "essential services" who the "hotels" are made available for can stay in their cars because Donegal don't like getting up early in the morning to drive 5 hours to play a football match... ah bliss

Not right that it is only on Eir Sport.

This is the game that will see Kerry crowned League Champions if they win. . .given the exceptions made to ensure this goes ahead, and that we're told it's to give people something to entertain them when they are stuck in their houses, surely it could have been made free-to-air with Eir compensated accordingly.

jesus, who p***ed in your cornflakes!?

even with frontline workers being given accommodation, hotels were down at 15% capacity in April and May.

It's a nothing argument that you're trying to push here

Its probably not a full strength team Donegal will send down anyway and most likely are going to lose, would the team not think of the expenses Accommodation will cost the poor Donegal County Board in these Financially difficult times!
Nothing wrong with getting up early in the morning, have a big fry and enjoy the lovely sinerary as they drive to Kerry...

We don't need to travel 5 hours to enjoy lovely scenery.
