Are teams now only rated on the basis of their last three games and does 2 Leinsters, 2 League titles and an AI title in the space of 18 months not tell you something about how good a team is?

Not the point I was making joxer.

What I don't understand is the attitude, prevalent only in Leinster, that Dublin are unbeatable. I just haven't seen the evidence that backs this up. I am on record as saying that they are indeed a very fine team, but it is a stretch to go from there to being unbeatable.

Anyway, for the record, I don't regard league titles or provincial titles as being any indicator of greatness. Successive Sams is what allows you don the mantle of greatness.

Muck name me one commentator or poster on this forum who has said that this Dublin team is unbeatable. I have never heard that said by anyone to be honest. No team is unbeatable, Dublin, Kerry, Mayo, Donegal..all beatable. I don't even remember anyone mentioning greatness but then again define greatness. You said that nobody knows how good Dublin are. I just pointed to Dublin's record, which speaks for itself, as an indicator. Best of luck to all teams today. If we lose then I hope we go down playing football and putting up a fight. The lads have given us some great matches and entertainment in all competitions over the past few years. Best of luck to them today. COYBIB.

I expect monaghan will have picked up a few Leinster problems by the end of today. The reason Donegal lads believe they can beat Dublin will vanish fairly soon too that's if they can beat Armagh today which for me is their first big test this year. If Armagh win we'll have the not unbeatable debate extended.
I said at the start of the year mayo are the one team with enough quality to trouble the dubs and I haven't changed my opinion on that. Kerry could beat mayo, in any case it's looking good for the dubs.

Dublin, Donegal and Mayo are quite close in terms of experience and talent in my opinion. Donegal beat Mayo by 4 points in 2012 final, Dublin beat Mayo by 1 point last year in the final. Very little overall between them I would say. Forget Donegal in 2013, clearly not an accurate reflection of this team.

While I would really love to see Monaghan win today, I just don't think 7 days preparation will be enough to beat a superb team like Dublin. Dublin will be coming into this game fresh and anxious to demolish a Defensive team, to prove the doubters wrong.
Monaghan are a excellent team, and I hope they will give a performance today that truely reflects how good they really are.
Tests don't come any harder than Dublin in a packed Croke Park, where Monaghan won their first Championship game since 1930 last week.

It'll all be about 'last week's game took it out of Monaghan'.
