87 points this week, I imagine the O'Connor injury is hitting people hard.

Yeah if Cillian O'Connor is out for the season I'm doomed I'm afraid! I wonder can you change your captain at the QF stage or is he set in stone?

"I hate it when you see guys winning these competitions who simply play the rules as opposed to knowing the most about players and teams."

That must go down as one of the most ridiculous statements anyone could come out with. I can take it from your above "observation" that you haven't actually won any competition yourself master, which is surprising given your in depth knowledge of players and rules!

Your sermon on "easy runs" was soon blown out of the water in London, all those who piled on Sligo thanks to your "advice" will find in the future that they are better off playing their own game rather than listening to barstool pundits.

If you think you are so good, go and win something rather than carrying out post mortems on other peoples teams.

And by the way who are the "guys" "who win by playing by the rules as opposed to knowing the most about players and teams"?

Where is the evidence of that master? Or are you able to read peoples minds as well...............

Wow that is indeed an idiotic statement from The Master. Meanwhile I'm racking up the points with no Tyrone or Donegal players...

Actually vanhalen, I have won several, both soccer and gaa. However, if you think that the shock result of london beating sligo disproves anything, then I will leave you to your mid-table mediocraty...

So what competitions have you won master? And I'm talking proper fantasy football or GAA competitions here. The only fantasy GAA game of note in recent years was run by The Irish Daily Star and The Irish Times ran a top class fantasy football game this year. Did you win any of those master?

Reading your posts I don't think you are a winning type master because you come across as a disgruntled loser but I'll take my hat off to you if you have won a "proper" competition. So what have you won master?

It's not what the shock result disproves that concerns me, more what it proves, that your preaching about teams "with easy runs" like Sligo etc was totally misleading. Just let everyone play the game the way they wish master.

By your logic there was no way that having players from both Tyrone and Donegal for example made any since. Of course that is not totally true, but in your own words you have won several competitions so go ahead name one proper competition you have won master.........

vanhalen, if you think I have to prove myself to you, you are very much mistaken. Frankly, it is none of you business what I have won, and since it is an anonymous site, I will choose to not disclose what I have done and where.
The reality is that many posters agreed with what I said. Furthermore, what I said makes total sense. Whether it happened to step on your toes because you were daft enough to pick 2 players from a team that could do no more than play 1 game, I couldnt care less.
If you spent half as much time thinking about your actual selection as you did to read my posts from a weeks ago, join the site and vent your spleen then you would probably be further up the table.

Probably because it is the right answer AthCliath. Can yourself or vanhalen qualify yourselves for me by the way? Since you have no issue with keeping anonymity, it shouldnt be an issue...

Niall Morgan missing all those frees would have damaged alot of people. Quite a few of us had him as captain too thinking he would rack up the points... how wrong can you be. Also I was totally wrong about Sligo too. I thought they would get 3 games and picked a few of them.. but hey thats the fun of the game. At least my Donegal,Mayo and Kerry boys are still going strong and hoping the Dubs can do the business too.

I would assume so . because you can change your whole team. what do you mean "stuck with O' Connor" do you mean Cillian O' Connor.
why would that be a bad thing.

has anyone noticed that the Kerry players have all been given 5 points for appearance. I believe this should only be 3 points.

the rules state 3 points for a provincial round and 5 points for a provincial FINAL appearance. so deduct 2 or 4 points from your scores
