yeah they brough big crowd to their last two matches lucan to be fair but the battle will be on for the shiny bright blue seats in the centre of the stand as themselves and boden are very much in love with the crab claws, maybe they will be selling the prawn sandwiches as the days special in the shop behind the goal on sunday haha

10,000 for the Kilcoo v Cross replay was mighty impressive. More than there was at the Dublin Senior replay!

Reckon there will be a big crowd for the Summerhill / Vinnies semi in the Nell?

Biggest crowd for a Dublin hurling final that i have ever seen at Parnell Pk yesterday. At a guess i would say seven or eight thousand.

So more than the football replay?

Jack Goff, Parnell was packed for football replay. Thats at least 10,000 and there were people turned away.

But it is great to see the crowds all over for club games. Not only does inter county GAA beat all other sports hands down for crowds, so does the club championship!

hill16 stop getting over defensive with everything. It's not a dig. They said there was 6000 at the replay. maybe they don't count kids but in that case there was prob more at the kilcoo game for example as they wouldn't count kids either.

but yeah have to agree just shows you how big the gaa is. and it doesn't get half the tv coverage it deserves. rte should be showing the lines of the dublin county finals, leinster club championship and games like kilcoo v cross.

The replay had more than the first match, it was full house plus people standing in front of a full terrace beside pitch, about 9500. and ye its great to see the good crowd at the cross game also.if it was 10,000 fair play to them, the more coverage of club games the better.

Just over 3,000 at the Down match yesterday. 4,651 at Letterkenny for Donegal vs. Tyrone. Not bad for McKenna Cup.

Need to start a new thread saulgael!

At least 3,000 in Mullingar yesterday, overwhelmingly Dubs.

Good crowd in Armagh, about 3,000, with obviously no QUB support

Small crowd in Navan against DIT although everyone was supporting Meath of course. I'd say 1500 as the stand was full and apart from wither side of it the rest of the ground was closed.

We'll do well to get over 1000 for the CIT match on Wednesday and with the Wicklow match away not many Meath supporters will see Meath play before the league unless we get a home semi final. Shame we don't have at least 1 big home game.

And I well believe that Mullingar was all Dubs. Was the same when Meath played there for the league 2 years ago.

I tip my hat to the Ulster folk for the turn outs at their McKenna cup games. Here in Connacht if you added all the FBD attendances together this weekend you would be lucky to get 3,000.
