Excellent point slayer all these "incidents" happened during the Kilkenny reign. Just goes to prove that strikes were not the action to topple the cats, togetherness and bloody hard work were the answer and thats why alot of credit must go to Sheedy and Tipp. If you had of said to me four years ago the day Tipp walked out of croke park after being beating by Wexford with Babs in command that they would produce the performances they have in the last 2 years. I wonder did Sheedy use Babs comments as motivation for the final..

you know Slayer Tipp and Limerick are the only2 counties to win 3 u 21 all irelands in a row and ye should have won senior in 96 and 94 no doubt about it!!

Id say 4 more Moddy twas just as well we went to sleep like the sleeping beauty or we would have at least 40 by now!

Im living in Limerick and I admire their supporters and they are a great hurling county Id love to see them win a few I am friendly with Pat Hartigan a true gent and one of the best full backs of all timem in my opinion!

sure why shouldn't ye have 4 or 5 on the team, Thurles sarsfield's have an intermediate and a senior club and there another club in thurles right thurles fennelly's.

It great to see such a spread of clubs represented on the county team especially from south tipp which would be more football... also there used to be a bit of snobbery when players were selected for teams I think up until babs took over in the late 80's. I think also eoin kelly was the first south tipp man to captain tipperary to an all-ireland not sure about that correct me if I'm werong
