Hi All, I was at the game today. I thought Meath played brillant in the first half but after that it felt apart. I thought Kevin Reilly, Mickey Burke and Graham Reilly, Joe Sheridan, Anto Moyles were excellent through out the game. Shane O Rourke didnt play well today. I think we were lucky to get a replay. The Laois forwards scored at ease when they needed to. If they done that all day they would have kicked us off the field.

Yeah I would agreed with ye there. Laois were well able for the extra time. I hope we can beat laois I would love to see a dublin v's Meath game. Meath always play well against dublin.

Laois seemed to shake off that rustyness that meath didn have thanks to there game with offaly. Laois looked fitter and i think they could shade it in tullamore.

im still hopeful meath will win.Joe sheridan and graham reilly were the only meath forwards to play well and if more of our forwards produce next sat we will win.Also i dont think kingston will play as well again anyways so meath will shade it.I also thought laois done very well to not give meath many frees which limited cian ward.

Meath can but our defence is so weak anything could happen. Crawford is a huge loss and Laois got stronger as the game wore on. Meath twice should have killed the game off when ahead with minutes to go - that sort of thing normally comes back to haunt a team.
When Dublin looked like they were going to be beaten, it struck me that the five teams left in the Leinster championship if that happened would be two Division 2 sides and three from Division 3. It says it all really!

Meaths forwards look a far more potent bunch than Laois'. Thought the big difference was Kingston and Quigley in midfield for Laois yesterday.
Great performance by both of them, if they play like that in the replay they have a chance but I think Meath have too much up front that will do better next time around. Great stuff from Laois to force the draw though. It will be close in the replay

Yes they can but alot will depend on the fitness of Nigel Crawford as he was sadly missed yesterday. The Laois subs were the difference yesterday with Clancy, Tierney and O'Loughlin scoring 7 points between them. I would expect the 3 lads to probably start next week for Laois and Meath could be under greater pressure. The loss of Biggy Reilly was major in my opinion. This young man is now beginning to show the potential many people believe he has.

It will be close...Hopefully weather will be better Saturday so game wont be as scrappy as yesterday...Hope Crawford and Reilly are fit though that will be an advantage to Meath:)

great ot see laois fighting right up to the end of the game. im sure dempsey has alot to do with this as he just wouldnt let a laois team lie down!

id favour laois in the replay. that game will stand to them greatly as meath came out of the traps much quicker than laois on sunday.JOL and clancy should start,both impressed.

should be an all round better game if the even if it does rain.croke park is almost impossible to play in when wet.

Is Laois v Meath replay live on television?

I wont be able to make this game and I was hoping it was on television, does anyone know if it is? Since they took the first match off to replace it with Cork v Kerry I think the least they could do is show this.

Personally I think Meath let them off the hook, we had leads in the second half of ordinary time and extra time and dominated for long enough periods and should have had the game tied up before Laois got that goal to bring it into the melting pot again. I think we will win the replay but it will be close, Laois showed goos spirit and seem much more focussed on football this year
