Not a fan of the man or the party. Im not set in my ways and im open to change but i cannot see what the party has to offer. They always are on the NO party for everything, they give out but dont offer great solutions, in my opinion. I will listen to FF, FG and Labour parties, and also Independent but Sinn Fein and the Greens i cant.

does anyone really take sinn fein seriously?, i would rate them alongside the raving monster looney party a bit of a gimmic and not to be taken seriously at all.

I wouldnt have a great grasp of politics . But does Sinn Fein not have some 8% of the votes in the ROI, and 27% of the vote in the six counties ? Would that not be something like 16% of the votes on this Island? Is Gerry Adams not the leader of the Sinn Fein ? Is Sinn Fein not the oldest political party on the Island of Ireland? Please dont tell me I have got all this wrong.

Gerry would not be my favourite but I have always campaigned for the right to speak, especially when they were banned.

Rossielassie you would still listen to Fianna Fail????????? I give up..... I simply give up. This party is rotten to the core with corruption and yet people always give them a chance. Why cant the Irish people see Fianna Fail for what they are? They're a fraud of a party and have been since day one in 1926. De Valera held the country back for so long with his backward policies causing economic ruin and his successors are still doing it today--- all did what was best for the interests of their developer friends. Even now they're stamping all over the public by demanding we pay for NAMA, for the greed of bankers. I really cant understand the mentality of some voters because come hell or highwater, they'll vote fianna fail no matter what. Please people wake up!!!

Now that you mention that Great Patriot and founder of Fianna Fail. Perhaps it should be pointed out that in 1940 Churchill offered the six counties to him with the agreement of the Unionists in return for the use of Irish ports for the duration of the war and DeValera refused ,ostensibly to maintain Irish neutrality, but in reality to ensure his terms in office because the unionists would have alignrd with Fine Gael. Now that is the real republican party
