Reasons to hate Soccer

I hate the way you cannot attempt to go for a ball in the air if the goalie decides he wants to go for it too.if there is even minimal contact, the goalie takes a dive or gestures at the referee and gets his free out straight away.this is crazy, why should you not go for it?The bloody goalie is usually 6'3+ and can use his hands for crying out loud! Why should he get special protection?

The same as in football where you cannot touch the keeper in the small square or even enter it until the ball has.

True Mesamis, only difference is there is a stated rule in football which says you cannot tackle the goalie in the small square. In soccer if you jump with the goalie for a ball,he gets a free out for no reason.I actually hope the new rule stays in football, where jumping in the square is prohibited, its wrong that the goalie should get special protection.
Todays reason to hate soccer is:

The way the likes of Roy Keane and Vinny Jones were made out to be "hard men",just because they made some dirty/dangerous/cowardly tackles during their career. These men werent hard in my opinion, they just stood out for their mouthy behaviour and their recklessness.Doesnt take a hard man to jump in high on a fella with full studs showing,or try to break someones leg.Id love to have seen the likes of these 2 playing rugby, they would have been driven into the ground and walked on.

Because soccer fans think the likes of Duncan Ferguson are legends.

Im ploughing a lonely furrow on this thread, its lonely.guess no-one hates soccer as much as i do,and for that reason i am proud. My next reason for hating "the beautiful game" is:

The way the ball is kicked out of play needlessly whenever some wimpy little git decides he needs to luy down for a rest,to get his little knee looked at.this makes my blood boil, because there is never anything wrong with the player who goes down.one team then throws the ball in to the other team, who in turn kicks the ball back to the goalie the other end of the field, cue generous applause from the crowd.this kind of behaviour is mind-boggling,what kind of idiots are these?
