Yeah nothing more entertaining than watching a game that's over 90minutes long and still feckin ends up being a scoreless draw!! Breathtakingly entertaining stuff alright

I hate defenders obstructing attackers to allow the ball to trickle over the end line.......its a foul for gods sake

I hate players taking ages to come off he pitch when subbed

I hate diving and play acting

I hate when players run the ball into the corner to waste time

I hate the lack of understanding by officials of the offside rules (Spurs goal last night for example)

Rant over.........for the time being

It is OK Frank, everyone hates United.

Except me. I understand them. All those years of saying "we have the biggest crowd" when they couldn't win the toss up, and now in an attempt to compensate all that vulgar "we won whatever" nonsense.

Jimbodub you obviously weren't watching the League Cup semi finals this week then, two classic games, and this season thus far has seen the highest amount of goals ever scored in the league. I like a lot of people do find football (soccer) very hard to follow these days as well, as it's very hard to relate to players earning obscene amounts of money, although lets face facts nobody on here would refuse it. However like all sports soccer has its ups and down, on its day it truly is the beautiful game, on other days it's like watching paint dry. Lets face facts though it's the most popular sport in the world by a country mile, and while there are inherent problems in the game which are mostly money related, it is not the biggest sport in the world for nothing. Everton in no more debt than anyone other club, in fact they are one of the "less debted" clubs if that makes sense
they are in no danger whatsoever

How about badge kissing? You know where they run up to the crowd after scoring and start kissing the club crest like they feel the need to prove their loyalty.......................and then when they get relegated you **** off to your bitterest rivals instead of sticking it out with the club you were so keen to demonstrate your loyalty and devotion to. In case you are wondering I am referring to Alan Smith, formerly of Leeds Utd and now of, well who give a ****!

Posted a long message on this yesterday, but the bloody webpage expired and i lost it much to my disgust,so gonna post maybe one or two points at a time, and if people want to take me up on my points then they can.I hate soccer for many reasons:

1.I hate the way every soccer player has a deep obsession with the corner flag.why do teams persist with trying to get the ball "down the flanks" to the corner flag area and getting crosses is?there is a very small percentage of goals scored with the head,so why this fascination with crosses?just about the safest area on the field for the defence is the area around the corner flag, this is where you are least likely to score from.even when a shot is on from the edge of the box, more often than not it will be played out of danger to some idiot gone tearing down the wing.

2.I hate when a shot is scored from long range and is made out to be "an absolute screamer" or a "peach of a strike".no it isnt,it is what i call a fluke.what people tend to forget is that the player who took the shot just hit the ball as hard as he possibly could and hoped that it went on target, and that his last shot probably ended up in a housing estate down the road.only a tiny percentage of these shots actually make it on target, the soccer ball is far too light, and as i said, the player just hits it with all his might and if it ends up on target, well and good!
