if i can remember the year previous aged 13 he was the best forward on that clane team who got to the all ireland finals....

Celbridge bet Clane by 4 13 to 15 points last week. Surprised to see that Castledermot are in the semis.


My prediction is a Clane - Celbridge final.Although Athy will provide a stern test to Clane.

Sorry my mistake yes Celbridge beat Clane 4-14 to 14 points...Although Celbridge wer lucky to get a draw out of Castledermot earlier on in the yr as the ref supposedly had the score wrong...In the semi finals i tink Castledermot wil push celbridge although i cant c dem beating celbridge up in celbridg...Also the other semi final should prove to be a crackin mach down in athy

Athy Clane match was a cracking one.Well done to Athy great game by all.Their youngest player Michael Kelly only 13 years old got 2 great goals.Clane put up an excellent match.Best for them were the 2 midfielders.Any word on the other semi?

Athy Celbridge final.When these played in the league Celbridge won by more than 20 points.Any1 think d result wil be the same or wil it be closer.Personally i think its going to be a very close match but Celbridge will edge Athy out but i think anything can happen so i wont rule out a shock win for Athy.

I wil have to agree with u leinster2000.i was at the athy clane mach and athy played some lovely football in wat was no less than a mud bath not to mention the heart and determination they had. although celbridg are a top side and athy wil b up against it next monday (bank holiday monday).

catandmouse...Athy dont depend on niall kelly.They have great players all around the pitch.David Hyland and Sean Ronan in the backs.Tony Gibbons in midfield.And of coarse niall in the forwards so i definaltly think its going to be close.

I think that Athy have every chance against Celbridge. I think that they will win by 2 or 3. After the Clane match they should gain enough belief to beat Celbridge. The forward line is not overly dependent on Niall Kelly. They have extremely stylish wing forwards and obviously Kelly who will be their main scoring threat. Going to be a great game.

Id say a whitewash is on the cards for Athy. The game will be won in midfield and judging by the athy midfield Celbridge will come out on top.

Yeah Tony Gibbons was playin against Clane.Probably didn't notice him as all the players were mucked up.The pitch was in a bad state after heavy rain.
