Another advantage of playing in Corduff is you don't have the smell of the chicken factory - god I hate playing in Shercock!!!

Will someone update the league table please. Saw the results from June 8th. Were there any others matches played since?

Not really. Could be Ballyhaise or Drumalee or maybe I just heard the result or attended as a neutral.

Is it true that Kingscourt have lost their fullback for the rest of the season with a serious injury? Does anyone know what happened?

yeah, young doc mcmahon. Cruciate on his knee. happened in a challenge game 2 weeks ago. Massive blow, man is a tidy man marker. But somebody else will have to step up to the plate.

Well thats the better part of the league finished. Kingscourt and Killeshandra have secured promotion with at least 3 games still left to go. Both teams drew with Ballyhaise, who have under-impressed in the league once again. Drumlane were also poor as were Cootehill and Drumalee. The relegation battle now commences as Shercock, Kill, Drung and the Gaels all look to avoid the drop to division 3 along with Crosserlough who are nearly certain to go down. But if recent years have thought us anything it's that the league and championship are two very different games and any of these clubs could very well impress over the next few months of championship football.
