A.C.F.L. Division 2 Round 7
Drumalee v Drumgoon - should be a good game. If drumgoon have all their county guys they should win by 4 or 5 points. otherwise there could be one in it either way.

Cootehill v Ballyhaise - ballyhaise seem to be hot & cold but put up a good score last week. Ballyhaise to win this by 3 points.

Crosserlough v Drung (Game at 5pm) - Crosserlough not strong enough, drung to win this by about 5 points

Killeshandra v Shercock (Game at 4.45pm in Kildallon) - killeshandra should have too much here, but shercock after their win last week will put it up to them for the first half. killeshandra by 5 points.

Cavan Gaels v Knockbride (Game at 4pm) Knockbride should be too strong here, although they'll have to lift themselves after last weeks loss. If larry is playing, knockbride by 7 points.

Kingscourt v Drumlane - Kingscourt looking good so far, drumlane struggling to score alot of points in games and relying on goals. will still be a tight game. Kingscourt by 4 points

Killinkere v Kill - killinkere to win this by about 4 points.

Dougal - I can see why you are confused with the table. In every other sport and even in every other GAA table. the column headings would be P W D L . but of course we have to be different here ad so it's P W L D.
for reasons only known to the table compilers. I suggest if they are raeding this that they revert at once to the tried and trusted formula. P. W. D. L. Pts.

cootehill 0-14 ballyhaise 2-08. draw. young mark brennan scored a point for ballyhaise-last kick of the game to level it. what a player. should be on the county. he was unreal. absolutely magnificently brilliant.

Ritz, gald 2 see you seen fit to post three coments on the kingscourt v drumlane game yesterday!
Its very poor form not scoring, but if you look at the drumlane teamsheet they had maybe 5-6 players of there first team actually playing! They only had three subs togged out, which shows the extent of the injury crisis!!

Yes, I hear it was a very disappointing display by Drumlane in Kingscourt. A tough time for the team at the moment with 9 or 10 players out yesterday and another few having to play injured. When the game was reasonably close until the last 15 minutes Drumlane went for goal 3 or 4 times hitting the post and having a couple cleared off the line, when it could have been easier to throw in the towel and take a point for the sake of someone reading a paper or the web. Best of luck to Kingscourt, a well oiled forward line and too big a club for Division 2 footall.

In 3 or 4 weeks all should be back in training.... and it's only 4 weeks since a full team beat Knockbride up in Canningstown. Keep the faith lads.

Alex that still cant be an excuse for not scoring for an entire match. We were missing so many players yesterday that our manager had to come on and we still scored 1-5! Killeshandra got a cricket score but still!

The last time I looked it was 15 v 15 players Alex, your showing a total lack of respect to the Drumlane lads that had to come into the team to do a job, albeit a bad one. Horror result, Drumlane and management have to look at themselves.
