Dougal - I can see why you are confused with the table. In every other sport and even in every other GAA table. the column headings would be P W D L . but of course we have to be different here ad so it's P W L D. s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5522 - 24/04/2009 19:30:34 267642 Link 0 |

cootehill 0-14 ballyhaise 2-08. draw. young mark brennan scored a point for ballyhaise-last kick of the game to level it. what a player. should be on the county. he was unreal. absolutely magnificently brilliant. fooligan (Cavan) - Posts: 293 - 25/04/2009 21:27:28 268069 Link 0 |

Ritz, gald 2 see you seen fit to post three coments on the kingscourt v drumlane game yesterday! Alex (Cavan) - Posts: 11 - 26/04/2009 14:26:58 268264 Link 0 |
Yes, I hear it was a very disappointing display by Drumlane in Kingscourt. A tough time for the team at the moment with 9 or 10 players out yesterday and another few having to play injured. When the game was reasonably close until the last 15 minutes Drumlane went for goal 3 or 4 times hitting the post and having a couple cleared off the line, when it could have been easier to throw in the towel and take a point for the sake of someone reading a paper or the web. Best of luck to Kingscourt, a well oiled forward line and too big a club for Division 2 footall. Dustin (Cavan) - Posts: 26 - 26/04/2009 15:55:00 268294 Link 0 |
Alex that still cant be an excuse for not scoring for an entire match. We were missing so many players yesterday that our manager had to come on and we still scored 1-5! Killeshandra got a cricket score but still! pencil (Cavan) - Posts: 30 - 26/04/2009 21:41:52 268491 Link 0 |
The last time I looked it was 15 v 15 players Alex, your showing a total lack of respect to the Drumlane lads that had to come into the team to do a job, albeit a bad one. Horror result, Drumlane and management have to look at themselves. ballygowanwater (Cavan) - Posts: 207 - 27/04/2009 09:36:00 268656 Link 0 |
