In recent years the answer is yes. However in the 50's, 60's, and 70's, while New York competed in the National League they played in various counties and Croke Park. New York played the "Home" winner in the over all final in a two game series.
The most famous one was in the late sixties when they played Longford. It was nasty in Longford but the second game in Croke Park was one for the ages. Pictures exist of a player getting a boot in the behind and another of a player swinging a chain.
