It seems this is very much a promise, than something that is readily available. Would that be correct? I'm sure there are platforms out there already which offer something similar. What will you offer that makes you guys unique?

Club websites live and die by how up to date information is. Many clubs I've seen have abandoned traditional HTML sites and migrated completely to eg facebook and twitter.

True. Which is annoying for someone like me who doesn't, and won't, use Facebook and Twitter.

True, but I think these days clubs have to cover a lot of bases, have learned recently that under 30s are seldom on Facebook, it's all Instagram now apparently.

Hello folks,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

@notanadmin Yes, this is very much a promise, an idea we're toying with, knocking the sliothar about as such. We hope our reply below will answer your latter question.

@essmac @Cockney_Cat We have definitely seen social media being used more to get information across to the public, however, to @Cockney_Cat point, not everyone is on social media, I myself was born in the 90's and I'm not on social media (anymore), but there is definitely a problem with sites staying up to date too.

We feel there are different demographics who are accustomed to different methods of receiving/getting their information, e.g. my parent's aren't as accustomed to social media, so perhaps information via. SMS would be the answer there.

We aim to provide a choose of professional website templates that anyone can pick from, simply give us your club name and crest, and within seconds, you'll have your website up and running. We're looking at this template based approach because they will provide the user with several advantages.

One advantage of the template approach is it removes the awkwardness of designing your website, dragging this component here, checking how it looks on mobile, and various browsers. Instead, we hope to provide a library of templates you can pick and choose from, which will allow you to create a professional, and beautiful, looking website within seconds.

Another advantage of using templates is, your site can always be changed up within seconds. As times change, just like we seen in social media circles, there was Facebook, there was Twitter, I've lost count to be honest, the look and feel of your website has to change too. No problem! We will constantly be updating our library of templates so you can always keep the look and feel of your website up to date too.

Finally, the use of our platform will allow all clubs to post news, photos, videos and other similar content to their website, but this same content will/can then be shared across their various social media accounts too (and perhaps even, a summarized SMS or WhatApp to club members). This will allow the website to become a centralized location for all information pertaining to the club, ensuring all information is kept up to date, but also providing a means for those not on social media to stay in touch with their club.

Hopefully the above will provide a better insight into what we hope to accomplish, and welcome all feedback, we ask everyone to be direct, be fair and, above all, be honest with your feedback.

Thanks again,

OurClub.

Your website is just one page with, basically, a 'Coming Soon' message. Couldn't you have given some examples of the websites you intend to offer?

@Cockney_Cat, loving the feedback, greatly appreciated.

The purpose of the site, as it stands now, is to act as a means to get our message across, what we envisage as such. It is more of a promise than anything concrete, as we alluded to earlier.

We do intend to have a few samples ready for our soft launch, but like any startup, we have to have a measured approach. We're trying to drum up support so we have an early adoption group, who we can work with in help shaping the product.

Keep the feedback coming,

OurClub.
