Nice one Essmac. Two great characters. Never heard of that channel before. Some other good interviews on there at a good time for watching them and cheering ourselves up.

Yeah they are a good listen. McConville had some good stories. The interview with Noel O Leary was good too and Kevin Moran.

O Se has a new podcast now. He had a good interview with Colin Corkery earlier in the week. Corkery had some tales to tell, doesn't like the way the game has gone to serious.

Corkery was such a unique player, a brilliant player. The chances of a player like him operating in the modern game would be slim enough. The story about the tram & the expenses was quality! :D

Brilliant, Colin was some operator on the field and sounds like a good laugh off the field.

Yeah it would be interesting to see how he would fare. He was some talent. Maybe Sean Quigley of Fermanagh would be the modern version of Corkery in terms of build.
Geoffrey McGonagle of Derry wouldn't have been worried abouts the Laps either.

Corkery use to have some battles with Seamus Moynihan.

I used to love watching Corkery. He was a very natural footballer and a brilliant kicker of the ball. He also had a massive boot on him, which combined with his accuracy had him kick some monster scores over the years.
Definitely not the fittest, but his size and strength caused huge problems for anyone marking him. He was quick over 5-10 yards too, so was out in front when he needed to be.
Even when Cork took a few bad beatings off Kerry in Croke Park in the mid-00s, he always performed well and kicked some great scores.

Good interview this week with Paul Galvin, very driven and mentally strong from what I can perceive.
