Doubt if that's true but one thing for sure is that the size of the support for each team next Sunday will show that his greatest market potential is not based in or around Ballyboden.

And the All Crokes All Ireland SFC semi final last year until Mullinalaghta dumped out Kilmacud. Good to see it's been corrected. If it was a genuine mistake so be it, we're all human but I'm not sure it was going by how it was written.

It was a simple mistake. To put it aa anything beyond that is ridiculous.

Like it or not mistake or otherwise, Eire Og have been dismissed / overlooked as the upcoming Leinster final victor, speaking as a little guy from a little county that has won very little, to be dismissed accidentally or otherwise when Eire Og is on the cusp of winning a Leinster title it takes a bit of the gloss off it, by the way Eire Og is not my club but they are representing my county. Personally I don't know Malachy, but I do see him as an honest, hardworking family man, that said, the rhetoric attached to Eire Og's omission can send out negatives about Eire Og and positives about Ballyboden, sometimes sporting journalists know that bit more than us mere mortals. Until now I was giving Eire Og a sporting chance although deep down I sort of accepted that 'Boden were installed as favourites. The "Irish Time" see them as favourites as well, then so be it. PS. There's a huge difference between bias and mistake. supersub15 (Carlow) - Posts: 2907 - 02/12/2019 23:00:42 2252835 Link 0 |
