Replying To lilypad: "dubs have fallen out of love with the league so theyll drop a few points here and there and wont care if they reach final. when they were taking it serously everybody else was too but i think that interest will lessen because no matter whats been said over the last decade about how important the league really is, i thnk mayo and kerry have shown it to be otherwise."
Outside of Dublin though, Kerry and Mayo are the only two teams who have won the league in recent seasons.
I don't think winning the league is the be all...it's "nice" to win if you find yourself in the final.
Playing division 1 football is vital though if you have ambitions of winning an all Ireland.
