Enniskillen Gaels may appeal the red card issued to Callum Jones in last Saturday’s Ulster club SFC quarter-final penalty shootout victory over Gowna.

Sent off along with Gowna’s Conor Madden following an incident near the end of normal time, Jones is facing the prospect of missing the Fermanagh kingpins’ upcoming provincial semi-final against reigning Ulster and All-Ireland champions Kilcoo. Manager Simon Bradley said the Gaels would study the video evidence before deciding on whether or not to appeal.

Enniskillen are bidding to reach their first Ulster final in two decades, having lost to Crossmaglen and Errigal Ciarán in their two previous appearances in 1999 and 2002.
