Former Tyrone star Ronan O’Neill has been added to Fermanagh senior footballers’ backroom team for the 2023 season.

O’Neill retired from inter-county duty at the end of last year and is set to come on board Kieran Donnelly’s management as a forwards coach.

Having made 99 appearances for the Red Hands, the Omagh native is now on to his next chapter in inter-county football that will look to see him trying to improve the Ernsiders' fortunes next year after an early Ulster SFC exit was followed by a Tailteann Cup quarter-final defeat to Cavan this past summer.

It was confirmed earlier this week that the Ernesiders management team for 2023 will be as follows; Kieran Donnelly, Ferghal Quinn, Ronan O'Neill, Ger Treacy, Pat Cadden, Leon Carters, Stephen Carters, Niall Smyth and Stephen Jackson.
