Six teams put their unbeaten records on the line today, with nine matches staged in Round Four of the 2021 national hurling league.

Going into today's games, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Offaly, Kildare, Louth and Fermanagh had yet to taste defeat this year.

The first fixture threw in at Nowlan Park at 1:45, where the Cats were bidding to extend their 100% record in Group B of Division One when they hosted neighbours Laois, In Group A of the top flight, meanwhiile, Tipp were on the road to face Westmeath and there was a mouth-watering clash in Salthill, where Galway rolled out the red carpet for Waterford.

The high-flying Faithful County entertained Down in Division 2A and Meath had home advantage against Carlow. In Division 2B, Kildare travelled to Dr Hyde Park to take on Roscommon and Derry did battle with Donegal in a dramatic all-Ulster derby at picturesque Ballinascreen.

Louth welcomed Fermanagh to Darver in Division 3B, while Leitrim were attempting to avoid a third consecutive defeat when they locked horns with Cavan.
