Páirc Esler will undergo a second pitch inspection tomorrow morning to determine if it will be fit to host the Ulster club SHC final between Dunloy and Slaughtneil.
The Newry pitch passed an inspection this afternoon, but with rain continuing to fall in the area, a further inspection will take place tomorrow at 9.45am.
Both the Ulster club IHC final between Eoghan Ruadh, Dungannon and Naomh Eanna, and the Ulster club JHC final between Eoghan Rua, Coleraine and Newry Shamrocks were postponed earlier due to unplayable pitches.
