I seen list of counties gone to even numbers it has Galway down as both and mayo also but in Galway even number grades are only ticking a box I' reckon only about max 5 counties in whole country have minor at under 17 and in Galway they won't even have a discussion about changing back which in my opinion is a disgrace clubs delegate in Galway no say just do what top table says it's not helping Galway football impossible for clubs get challenge matches outside county as they all 18 year olds

Interesting that they had all the provincial draws on together this evening, appreciate the GAA trying to drum up a bit of hype for the upcoming season but not sure if it really makes sense timing wise to do it in late November. Would prefer to get the official fixture list for the league first! LárBáire (Galway) - Posts: 68 - 27/11/2025 21:23:35 2646270 Link 0 |

Very likely we're into another Connacht final. And also quite likely it'll be in Pearse. Hope PJ plays it smart with certain players and has them in prime condition for the May bank holiday weekend. gaillimhboy (Galway) - Posts: 389 - 28/11/2025 09:23:26 2646288 Link 0 |

The brother is a Corofin intermediate player. Ciaran is very good in the air, but has struggled to get into the Corofin team consistently. He was a Galway panelist in 2024. Will be interesting to see how he gets on with Cavan. Hard to see why a Galway/Corofin man would have the desire to play for Cavan, especially given the commute. Cavan are welcome to him. Fair play to him and best of luck with it some commute

Won't be surprised if the rossies take out Mayo and if they do it will be the first Galway v Roscommon Connacht final in Hyde Park for 8 years. I'm expecting a big reaction from Galway on and off the field in 2026 after a big underachieving championship season this summer. Peter Cooke at 8/1 for Man of the Match has to be the bet of the weekend! Also noticed Sean O Connor has slipped into 14/1 from 20 earlier in the week. Wonder if there's a new position involved there or just some chancers lamping him Emmets67 (Galway) - Posts: 2 - 29/11/2025 00:05:53 2646397 Link 0 |

I can never understand people betting on MOTM markets. Gambling on what is basically someone else's opinion.

I can understand when it was everyone opinion, say a phone in vote. A certain player once got it in a Connacht final when he may not have played his best jm25 (Galway) - Posts: 1768 - 29/11/2025 14:42:29 2646432 Link 0 |
