Its hard to sum up that win, Thomas's never looked like losing but also looked like they didn't get fully going either? point in it a HT, should have been more in front, they would go 3/4/5 in front again then bridge would reduce it to a 2/3 point game, then they'd make a burst again and bridge would pull it back, yet they only scored 1 point from play in 2nd half did the bridge. Special mention to Niland, without a doubt Galways free taker next year. Delighted for St Toms and what they are achieving, hopefully can go all the way this year and get up the hoganstand. Still no word what province they meet in Semi??

Out of the Thomas's 4 in a row teams ironically the one that did get to the all Ireland final was probably their weakest, the present Thomas's team is a lot stronger than they were in 2019 club all Ireland final. They're at their peak rn and probably are one of the only teams outside Ballyhale that could win the all Ireland. Super team and another club all Ireland is probably what this teams talent warrants. Another club all Ireland and they'd have to be talked in the same light as Portumna, Athenry, Sarsfields.

No, or at least I can't find it. That's why I'm asking.

Even at this early stage, I suspect that the All-Ireland winners will be one of Ballyhale, Thomas's or Ballygunner.

I haven't seen it published anywhere either. The only place I've heard it was Connacht vs Ulster and Munster vs Leinster, was on a hurling podcast.
Not an iron clad source, but they seemed to be sure these were the pairings.

Is it same across the board I wonder? what province will Moycullen/Tooreen play?

I've looked at the last 6 Senior Club All-Ireland semi-finals. These are the pairings by Provence:

2015 - Connacht v Leinster, Munster v Ulster
2016 - C v U, M v L
2017 - C v M, L v U
2018 - C v L, M v U
2019 - C v U, M v L
2020 - C v M, L v U
2021 - No Championship due to Covid.

There's a pattern, so I'll stick my neck out and say that the 2022 semi-finals will be Connacht v Leinster, and Munster v Ulster.

Had a look there at the hurling clubs that won an All-Ireland between 1971-2020.
Number of clubs from each county and the number of All Irelands won in ( )

7 Galway clubs (13)
5 Cork Clubs (9)
4 Kilkenny Clubs (13)
3 Tipp Clubs (3)
2 Clare Clubs (2)
1 Offaly (4)
1 Antrim (2)
1 Dublin (2)
1 Limerick (1)
1 Wexford (1)

This is from Wikipedia. Is it correct?
7 Galway clubs have won an All Ireland, the same as all the Leinster clubs combined. It's surprising to see only 3 clubs from Tipp with 3 All-Irelands in total. 1 Club from Limerick, 1 All-Ireland, ditto Wexford.

That's what I'd have assumed, but some seem to be thinking that they'll include the pairings which would have taken place last year in the sequence.
It should be Connacht vs Leinster, if they're to be logical about it.

That sounds right. We've had a decent spread of teams. Tipp's record is poor overall, and this is true of Cork too in more recent times.

Good work. You would say Leinster if they are to continue the pattern or if its skipped it will be Ulster, so basically no one will know until the GAA release it :)

As regards Limerick, it is not really that surprising. At any one time there are only three or at most four clubs capable of winning the county title. Many big clubs of the past have either disappeared or all but. I am talking of clubs of clubs like Croom, Treaty Sarsfield, Young Irelands, Fedamore, Cappamore and Claughaun, among others. The days when Ahane brought 11 All Irelands to the parish on the one day are long gone. If the club championship had started 40 years earlier that club would probably have won a good few. The fact is our county teams' successes are truly amazing, considering that the game is no longer played at a serious over vast tracks of the county. As I have often said before Cork have at least five to one for every hurler we have.

I Club and 1 All Ireland from limrik in the last 50yrs is a terrible bad record.

4 All Ireland Senior titles (and possibly counting), 6 Under 21s and 7 National Leagues is ok for a county with one fifth the playing population of Cork and less than half that of Galway. We are content in our hurling skin with the way things have turned out.

Ya, the Limerick and Wexford ones are especially bad. Na Piarsiagh are a super club and could well add to that total but their by far the best club Limerick have ever produced. Tipperary without a winner since 87 and the poor level of Cork clubs the last 10 years is another big surprise.
