Haha rathkennystar are you serious. John Donegan was a good club footballer on his day but injuries have ruined him. His brother David seemed to be a good prospect a couple of years ago

Are you serious? Young David Donegan is one of the finest backs in the county. He has improved an awful lot in the last two years. I know that im going to have a bet on rathkenny reaching the county final next year, an improving young squad!

Is that the intermediate final your on about? If they are in senior next year, and thats a big if, they won't get out of their group.

much as i loved trevor giles in the meath shirt i wouldnt like to see him back its time to be looking to the future and players like young howard off duleek tormey off don/ash and reilly off the cilles to name but three.dont forget next year a fit kevin reilly will be like a new player and will deffo tighten up the full back line because i thought moyles was a bit exposed this year which is understandable given hes not a true full back.id love to see kevin reilly back in there and moyles out half back or half forward

I would love to see Thagh Brossnan get another chance. I know hes been tried before but i feel he has the abilty and the right manager would get the best out of him. On his day hes as good as any of the Meath or Dublin forwards. Lets face it we need every one we can get. I have the upmost respect for workhorses like Mickey Burke, Brian Meade... ETC, but we need goal threats that top defenders would fear and Thagh at his best is one of them. Also Rory Donnely from Clare/ Summerhill would be some additon if we could do a Mick O Dwer on it and get in a player from another county. It worked with Larry Tompins{cork] Billy Sheehan{loais] and karl lacey [kildare} to name a few. I hate to say it but Thagh has relations in kerry and if Micko got in charge down there he would definitly snap thagh up.

brosnan has the ability but needs to get the head right, if he does that he would be an addition to any county panel. ive seen donnelly 3 or 4 times and i was extremely impressed with him. surely he has to be approached by eamonn o brien. anyone hear who played well at the trial game fri, didnt make it over to it??
