Whilst its hard to look past Eunans, i'd definitely keep an eye on a rejuvenated Gaoth Dobhair after their poor showing last year and St. Michael's could suprise a lot of people.

Aye, I'd say St Michaels could be a tough enough prospect. They'll be a bit older and have more top flight experience so it could spur them on, provided the team can stay together. But it is hard to look past Eunans on the evidence of recent years

Cant see Eunans doing three in a row.. Gona be plenty of teams mad to beat them.. Glenties ran them close in the league final and showed that they are not that far ahead and that glenties are the closest team to them.. But there are plenty of teams that could win the championship.

Eunans will be red hot favourites, however they can be caught on a Off day. Whoever meets them in the first round over two legs are gone. Better meeting them in a one off game. Glenties would be second favourites with Gweedore third, With dungloe & Donegal not to far away. No one else has a hope of winning the County Title. Although i hope someone other than Eunans wins it, as it would help donegal football.

This is already a forgone conclusion. Eunans will win the Championship in 09'. They have class all over the pitch and even on the bench. Glenties will give them a tight run for it as they have a young team that has not stepped up a gear since winning the Championship a few years ago. I do believe that Glenties are the only team at present to challenge. "NY"

Can't really see eunans been beaten to be honest. Think it will take glenties another 2 or three years to over take them. What's the story with Tony Boyle? Will he still be involved with Dungloe this year? Feel they could give it a good rattle.

hard to look past eunans but if glenties meet them in the later stages theyll be hard to beat.
verdict: Glenties

Eunans clear favourites on attitude alone. They are not far and away the best footballing side though and Glenties probably have a more skillful team. Teams like Gweedore, Kilcar, Glenfin, etc all have decent teams as well but either poor management and players not giving 100% are letting them down every year. They seem happy enough to go through the motions with the odd big win. Its a far cry from the teams Kilcar, Glen and Killybegs had in the 80s and 90s which were easily the greatest club sides the county ever seen, who I remember would run through a wall to win and wouldnt dream of stepping out onto a football field unless they were fully fit.

hard to see past eunans, there fringe players would be the key men for the other clubs sides in the county, they have great strength and depth, although i think dungloe could give it a right good rattle if tony boyle stays on. glenties willl be very strong too, if were being honest there is only really four or five teams with a reallistic chance of winning it, with gweedore and four masters the only other teams!!

I think its funny people stating that attitude is one of the main reasons for Eunans being installed as early county champions favourites, when 2/3 years ago people were saying they had the best players but didnt have the attitude, commitment or the bottle.
What has changed?
I think Michael McGeehan will be a huge loss to Eunans this year, now that he has joined the county set up.
