Think you're being a bit harsh there on the 'Wood there, greatwiseone, they weren't senior for all these years for nothing, they will be hurting after getting relegated and will be raring to go, pride will drive them on if nothing else. Have a few young footballers there, one that springs to mind is young Moran, started for the Meath VEC team at corner back this year, a good little tight defender. I don't think the Wood will win Inter, but I certainly don't think they'll be relegated, Ray McGee is a very good forward and should pave their way for safety at the very least

hear the wood are back training and fancy their chances of winning the intermediate......i cant see that happening myself if they had been relegated about 4 years ago they had a good chance but they are all over the hill now in my opinion

I know what thegreatwiseone's problem with the wood is.....he was once a committed wood lad but a terrible player and never managed to break through to the first (or second team for that matter), had his dreams of playing football dashed by the club and has since held a massive grudge. hasnt played football since, goes to the wood games just to give out about the lads and state who shouldn't be there playing! You bitter, bitter man. Go back to the pub and give out about your former club mates there. Mystery solved...go back crying to mammy lad and stop annoying everyone here.

lads i really believe that de wood will do well this year!! training is good with great numbers and people seem to be very positive!! whether this will last is another thing but i think it will. things seem to be more professional this year interms of coaching and training
