was at ramor kingscourt game and to be honest it was one of the worst games all year. firstly it was over at half time as ramor were leading by 10 and they didnt even have to try in the second half. as for kingscourt they were an absolute shambles didnt have a clue what to do when they had the ball. dont no how on earth they bet castlerahan and if they had have beating ramor last week they would have hammered them too. well done ramor if can avoid winners of gaels match in semis i think they will get to the final

Ramor beat kingscourt last nite 1-19 to 2-10,scoring 1-18 from play.are ramor really this good or are the teams they've been playing not great,i was at the game and in the first half it seemed so easy for the ramor forwards to find space and really after that it was shooting practise.kingscourt still scored 2-10 and were really poor on the nite so if a poor team can put 2-10 by them it doesnt bode that well.all said ramor played well and mc namee is definitely one of the most naturally gifted footballers in this county and along with cole and paddy brennan they scored 1-15 i think.maybe im wrong but theres no way they can win a senior championship or can they????????????

As a kingscourt stars man. Were obviously gutted to be out of the championship. We just did not perform in the first half. i think this is where the advantage of coming through the qualifier system can come into play, waiting 5 weeks can have its advantages & disadvantages. Ramor were just sharper on the breaking ball around the middle of the field & had time & space to pick out their forwards who ran riot in this half & this is how they really won the game in the first half. The lead at half time was too much to pull back. Whether ramor took their foot off the gas or not, kingscourt could have caught had they took their chances. They missed a penalty & at least 2 good goal chances, plus 2 bad shots into the keepers hands, so thats a possible 2-2 more on the score-board. Ramor have good forwards & a decent midfield. But i'd be worried about their defence. Kingscourt scored 2-10, playing absmally in the first half. With ramor probably winning 90% off the breaks & kickouts in this period. If a team is getting 50% of the breaks ramor backs will be under serious pressure. i think the gaels would suffocate them in the middle of the field should they get over mullahorn. Congrats to ramor all the same, it was a decent game with no badness involved. Best of luck in the next round

have to say the gaels v mullahorn match was very poor tonight..refereeing did not help...very poor for both teams...ramor would fancy their chances but wont have enough for that 1 yet.....see lyng made his comeback......only playin for cavan this year he said.....gaels should have left him where he was.....denn v gaels for the final...

as an interested spectator at the mullahoran v gaels match last night i felt mullahoran were unlucky not to have got at least a draw, it might not have been a game of the highest quality but it made up for it in intensity i thought. these 2 teams are very hard to seperate, everyone thinks the gaels are a far better team but past games have shown how close these sides really are, ramor now face their first real test against the gaels & i think we'll now see what standard they are at! i think it will be a gaels v killygarry final

Dont know how much Mullahorn gave their management but id be giving them directions back to where there from!!

How you d look @ No 20 for an hour.Eddie everywhere & no target man.Danny not fit for full hour surely hes an impact sub(a fine player) Paul Gunner not down the middle!!

Your toughest defender brought on in the last minute. No 4 good for 50 minutes good young lad just ran out of legs.

Cavan gaels were the best team but you could nt help feeling Mullahorn were being given a chance & would nt take it.Its a real shame as its gaels for Ulster...

Ramor/Gaels will be a good game but a Div 2 team against those Gaels boys i don t know.

Denn/Killygarry i reckon will be a cracker it may take a couple of games to seperate these boys.....But Killygarry firm favourites & may shade it..

Should be an interesting semi-final with the Gaels v's Ramor. Think the Gaels will win this. Great to see Lyng back playing MacDaddy. Break probably did him the world od good. Also a very exciting match with Killygarry playing Denn, probably a much harder one to call. What is your opinions on this game?

Was in breffni for the final quater final and while the show on fare was entertaining(considering i had just watched the hurling) the standard was very poor. I was very disappointed with the gaels performance. I think Walsh could of had a major impact on the game had they used him more. The tactic of flicking the ball to Johnstone instead of going for the catch was causing havoc and would eventually have beared fruit. Mullahoran were exactly as i expected, gutsy, determined and commited. They carry a few good footballers but make the best with what they have. While i would agree with the previous gaels poster about the ref i would feel both teams were lucky to finish with 15. I seen a headbutt to the back of a head and a punch in the groin which were both cowardly acts.

PROPOSED CHANGES FOR THE A.C.F.L. LEAGUE BY THE COUNTY BOARD

. Semi Finals in all divisions
. Division 1 to 3 relegation semi finals to allow 4 games without county players (This gives clubs with county players chance to get out of relegation)
. Rounds of league to be completed before championship starts on Master Plan

PROPOSED CHANGES FOR CHAMPIONSHIP

. Move 2 teams from Intermediate to Senior.
. This leaves 16 teams - 4 groups of 4, top 2 quarter finals, bottom team relegation. Semi finalists from previous year grade into each group.
. Same procedure for the Intermediate and Junior
. Allow teams who want to play in Junior Championship who have 2 teams play and promotion from Junior B to Junior.

Condition: If Cavan make it to An All Ireland Championship Quarter Final that the championship reverts to a straight knockout.

Other Options:

1. Straight Knockout Competition
2. Run on a league basis - 4 groups of 4. A shield final could be run for the bottom 2 in each group.
