Just to satisfy myself that I got it wrong, The red card was a correct decision no question about that.

What went on in Breffni Park last night was a disgrace , no referee deserves to get hit he is out doing a job , and he he is not there the game cant go ahead , Gowna were right to feel agrieved as the referee was poor. Pierson deserved more frees than he got , it looked like the ref was against Gowna from the very start, If the ref had any sense he would not of blown the whistle for full time when he was standing up at the goals , he should of made sure he was near the tunnel when he blew the whistle as he must of known that Gowna were going to go for him. Any thoughts?

all was fine until one person started and the rest is history, what I will ask however is will the offender be punished I would say no time. The ref regardless of how bad he was should not be hit its that simple, the ref doing the all Ireland yesterday made a huge mistake which turned the whole match but no one hit him and that was a major mistake, so in answer to your question the ref does not deserve to be hit by anyone its that simple and any person that hits the ref for doing what ever job he did should get a life time ban from the GAA the sooner its done the better. TIME & PLACE for everything and the tunnel is not the place for it.

Well okay the quater finals are over.two shocks & belturbet may feel they had more to offer. Denn castlerahan has been well discussed.. Cavan geals redhills .The ref was again the talking point & geals not allowing redhills to play,but Redhills can hold there head up high.Well Done!! Mullahorn belturbet .Thanks belturbet really enjoyed your half forward line really worked & took game to the dreadnoughts.No 11 class act.where have you been hiding him. Gowna Killygarry...I do think killygarry would have won,no actually no i think Gowna had them rattled down to two points & they were nt playing well.But this was a poor display of Refing.

As a netural at the Gowna game last sun I feel a few facts should be stated. 1 - Killygarry won the game fair and square by playing better football than Gowna. Other incidents and ref decisions shouldnt takle away from that. 2 - The ref was poor and gave handy frees to both sides, more to killygarry though but that end of the field was where most of the play happend to be. The Gowna players didnt help their cause with constant verbals to the ref resulting in booking and the ball being brought forward on lots of occasion. 3 - At the end both sides shook hands and the whole thing was calm until the ref approached the tunnel under the stand. It was then that one person started hurling abuse at the ref and others appeared to join in. 4 - I didnt see into the tunnel and cannot say if ref was struck but generally u dont slip when a glove is thrown at you, as sussested above. (unless it is being worn by a boxer and you are in a ring with him !!! ) 5 - The county board need to look at all evidence available before rushing off with this one as it is being blown up into something it really wasnt to be honest. Apart from a few off - the - balls it was a just a hard hitting championship game - nothing more than that. I've only seen a handfull of games this year but I have to say the refs have been very bad and lost control of otherwise good games of football. Cant see anyone stop the gales either.

Denn Man....what were the 2 shocks in your opinion. Would not see Killygarry beating Gowna as a shock. Having been to all Gowna's championship games this year they have been poor. There was a distinct lack of communication on their sideline among the management team and that always creates problems. Killygarry have been going pretty ok all year without ever putting in a full 60 minutes. They won't have enough power to see of the Gaels though.

Im gona tread carefully,i was confident about castlerahan kingscourt & Killygarry always sticky,but the idea of playing mullahorn is great i suppose,if you truely want to win The champ you have to beat the best & Mullahorn & cavan geals are the best.If we want to be remembered as a good team then were in the position to do that.

Your experience will be a factor denn will have to cope with so its a game i have every confidence we can win but i wont call it just yet.Three county players & a few underage stars plus most of the team has won it.that means so much in the final ten mins

But i will make a Bold statement,after watch geals this year i do think with no interference from refs etc .THE GEALS WILL BE BET !! Whether its killygarry or the winners of our Game i think they ll be beat.I d love to go further as to say i think the eventual winners will come from our semi.But i find the keyboard moving away from me now ..LOL...But don t be suprised
