What an absolute laugh, these messages by the Castlerahan supporters. One person has fallen out of Love with the game!!Well you were never in the game so.Lets look at the facts here.when did castlerahan ever beat Denn? This years league sure we bet nobody so that form does nt hold up..As for the verbal i think Rahan boys done there talking last few months Denn players agreed to say nothing & leave all on the field.Dont worry we still fear the geals & Gowna even Belturbet & we have to improve but castlerahan need to relax they won t win that champ for a long time..

Go through our team & see who overall was best team take away the county men in rahan & its ordinary enough..Anyway its a long way off.But it was best game in Breffni this year..Roll on County Final

Denn Man.
Go back through my posts, I rated Denn when no one else did. Before the game seanorinn tipped castlerahan to WIN. He changed his tune afterwards with all the dexterity of a county board official eating sandwiches in Newry. I am hugely disappointed in the way Castlerahan did not turn up last Sunday night. I knew when I seen the line up of officials for the game that Denn had a major physical advantage. I knew that they could go beyond the written rule with impunity. I had hoped that we could overcome this disadvantage by standing up for ourselves. History shows that we have not learned to do that yet. Let me clarify for those whose comprehension of the english language may be limited.

The incident which has forced me to question why I spend so much of my free time watching GAA did not affect the outcome of the match as the better team on the night won. I am around long enough to get over the disappointment of losing , as the saying goes "there will always be more days than years". Hopefully if I am privileged to live long enough I will get to see Castlerahan play in Breffni again.

If Denn players could play with half of the passion of Martin Cahill they would beat Castlerahan I have seen Belturbet once and if they play against Mullahorn like they did that day well I tip Belturbet to do the business. Unfortunately there is nothing to beat the Gaels once again so it's a Gaels championship If you take rime to read my full post you will see that I wrote if Denn play with half of the passion of Martin Cahill they would beat Castlerahan. Well rahanman this is what they did and the result is now history, so take your time in posting read the other posts first.

after reading through the message boards about the denn and castlerathan game it amazes me the attitude of people. to win a championship game, game plays and tactics are a must to succeed. denn went out with a game plan to man mark the castlerathan players witch was needed with their pace. rough yes it was wrong no it wasnt it was old school football and castlerathan got thought that passion sheer determination is needed to succeed in championship football.a game a football is there to be won by any means necessary and denn showed this. good luck denn

You registered just to say that!!! The term sunshine supporter springs to mind

Sean , I did read your post you quite clearly said that Castlerahan will do the business against Denn. Most reasonable people would take this to mean that you were tipping Castlerahan. You then in the best traditions of GAA punditry went on to say that "If Denn could play with passion they would win" so you covered all bets except the draw of course. No without getting too drawn into further debate on anyone's ability to read. If i could win the lottery I would have money is a little different to I will win the lottery.

All of this while amusing is taking from he Fact that the more experienced and deserving team won. As to Denn's Chances from here on in I think even Denn man will agree that thae will need to improve on their ability to take scoring chances. It will take more than 1- 07 to win from here on in. Best of luck to ye in the Semi

I take it murrayman that you know it all being that your are a Gaels man and that the tree mentioned know nothing what a shame for I have being reading their posts and they seem fine to me. Your posts are mostly one sided like a lot of your friends.

Well last week people were writing that the officials did not do there job in any position, what happened went on as the ref was dealing with another incident on the far side. Danny will get 4 weeks harsh but that is the way it is.
Now the sending off of the Gaels man Sean Reilly what will he get for he got a yellow earlier but the next card was a straight red what is the ruling on this one.

I have to agree this fellow was real bad and I think the County Board or who ever deals with these refs need to have a good look at the game on video. He gave that free to Killygarry by the way and did not even know what happened sad for sure, G. Person was pulled to the ground so often and was completly ignored but at the other end any little tackle a free given. Now the incident on the far side of the pitch sadly a young lines man was influenced by a person who should not have been there for when he called the ref over to report a person who was all ready on a yellow the person beside him had him convinced that he was wrong and the yellow was given to the number 21 which was wrong but it saved the number 6 who was all ready on a yellow. No matter good luck to them now for they have to play the county champions in the next round and Mulahorn V Denn

yes it would seem two yellows and a red so says the ref, BUT he did not produce the second yellow well I did not see it so must have missed it. I would like to the video footage of it however to accept that I got it wrong, for if he only got shown a red then its 4 weeks plus the next match in the championship. I will accept that it was a yellow a yellow and a red however.

Crossmaglen got beaten for the first time in 14 years yesterday. If Gaels were to have a chance it would be this year. Though i doubt it. They aren't as good as they were in the past. Around 2004 I thought they'd win Ulster one day. Not so sure now though.
