rahanman County: Cavan Posts: 19 414762 Denn Man. Go back through my posts, I rated Denn when no one else did. Before the game seanorinn tipped castlerahan to WIN. He changed his tune afterwards with all the dexterity of a county board official eating sandwiches in Newry Read my post Rahanman seanorinn County: Cavan Posts: 308 394354 Gaels will hammer Redhills Gowna will beat Killygarry Castlerahan will do the business on Denn. If Denn players could play with half of the passion of Martin Cahill they would beat Castlerahan I have seen Belturbet once and if they play against Mullahorn like they did that day well I tip Belturbet to do the business. Unfortunately there is nothing to beat the Gaels once again so it's a Gaels championship If you take rime to read my full post you will see that I wrote if Denn play with half of the passion of Martin Cahill they would beat Castlerahan. Well rahanman this is what they did and the result is now history, so take your time in posting read the other posts first. The Quiet Man (Cavan) - Posts: 4602 - 03/09/2009 21:38:46 414875 Link 0 |

Sean , I did read your post you quite clearly said that Castlerahan will do the business against Denn. Most reasonable people would take this to mean that you were tipping Castlerahan. You then in the best traditions of GAA punditry went on to say that "If Denn could play with passion they would win" so you covered all bets except the draw of course. No without getting too drawn into further debate on anyone's ability to read. If i could win the lottery I would have money is a little different to I will win the lottery. rahanman (Cavan) - Posts: 127 - 04/09/2009 14:30:06 415526 Link 0 |

kingscourt 15 ballinagh 1-10 after extra time. Ballinagh 5 up at half time, probably should have finished the deal but didnt. Gaynor sent off again. Ritz (None) - Posts: 199 - 05/09/2009 19:00:06 416478 Link 0 |

And the linesman on the terrace side ran the lenghth of the field to tell the ref!is that not the job of the linesman on the stand side? Well last week people were writing that the officials did not do there job in any position, what happened went on as the ref was dealing with another incident on the far side. Danny will get 4 weeks harsh but that is the way it is. The Quiet Man (Cavan) - Posts: 4602 - 06/09/2009 13:07:19 416893 Link 0 |

I have to agree this fellow was real bad and I think the County Board or who ever deals with these refs need to have a good look at the game on video. He gave that free to Killygarry by the way and did not even know what happened sad for sure, G. Person was pulled to the ground so often and was completly ignored but at the other end any little tackle a free given. Now the incident on the far side of the pitch sadly a young lines man was influenced by a person who should not have been there for when he called the ref over to report a person who was all ready on a yellow the person beside him had him convinced that he was wrong and the yellow was given to the number 21 which was wrong but it saved the number 6 who was all ready on a yellow. No matter good luck to them now for they have to play the county champions in the next round and Mulahorn V Denn The Quiet Man (Cavan) - Posts: 4602 - 06/09/2009 23:48:33 417505 Link 0 |
yes it would seem two yellows and a red so says the ref, BUT he did not produce the second yellow well I did not see it so must have missed it. I would like to the video footage of it however to accept that I got it wrong, for if he only got shown a red then its 4 weeks plus the next match in the championship. I will accept that it was a yellow a yellow and a red however. The Quiet Man (Cavan) - Posts: 4602 - 07/09/2009 00:01:18 417523 Link 0 |
seanorinn why would you wanna see video footage for? it was 2 yellow cards for doing nothing!! the man was treated very harshly!! murrayham (Cavan) - Posts: 182 - 07/09/2009 14:46:19 418065 Link 0 |
Crossmaglen got beaten for the first time in 14 years yesterday. If Gaels were to have a chance it would be this year. Though i doubt it. They aren't as good as they were in the past. Around 2004 I thought they'd win Ulster one day. Not so sure now though. ArminTamzarian (Cavan) - Posts: 66 - 07/09/2009 14:56:23 418077 Link 0 |
