Now that the Under 21 Championship is the only outstanding competitiion from which players are likely to be picked for County selection, the regional games don't count in my view, can you give me 4 or 5 players who were not on the panel over the past 3 years, who might be worth a look at based upon their Championship performances?

Best of luck to Gaels in the Ulster Club, looking forward to attending the game against the Antrim Champions and after all the injuries it's great to see M. Lynge doing the business again, injury free possibly the best CHF in Ulster.

Well the season is over as regards championship.We were outclassed out manouvered out muscled which suprised me & tactically they put us to shame..

But i do feel we will be back next year & i reckon the Final will be a replica if we don t meet sooner.The geals are gona take some beating they re very clinical and good side,hats off..

cavan need 6 of these guys on the team.Chesty,ford,nelligan,sean reilly,lyng & johnston.Build ur team around that Tommy with big men & you ve a chance..

i wouldnt have martin Cahill near the county setup! he was found wanting on sunday and isnt anygood!! paul brady is no better and should stick to handball or whatever it is he plays! Mc Keever has got his chance and has proven over and over not to be good enough! this man was once the captain and now is no where to be seen!! county team should be built around all the gaels players or maybe just let them all play for cavan!!

Listen here Murrayham take your head outta your ??? geals geals geals football is more than one superior club such is the geals its there time for Ulster i feel it infact i think if they play at the pace they can & they ll see Croke park thats true. But dont go telling me about average players on a good side.Put p brady an athlete a Gem of Cavan into that team & watch him flourish.Martin cahill was played too far back but in 2 nd half he got to show you his true form his drive forward whilst on the ball,mark mc keever is pound for pound best player in cavan & im watching him since he was 16.. Your two imports & nelligan was ur 3 best players,Sunday also showed that walsh is nt even at the races with your club team. listen here Denn Boy please remove the flags from the town, it has come back to bite ye now!! on this cold wet miserable day you have really given me a good chuckle!! you were on here last week going on about how good denn where and that martin cahill is the greatest thing in denn since sliced bread!! Paul brady and cahill have played with cavan for a number of years with good players and have been brutal!! brady really should stick to handball, he was the worse player on the pitch against denn in the semi!! walsh wasnt suited to the game against denn as there very small players and we didnt need his power and pace, same for sean Reilly!! its called rotation and will be needed for st galls!! both have destroyed everyone they came up against!! as for imports, people in glass houses and all that!!! all the training in ireland with jack o shea wouldnt help ye!! one trick ponies!!!

As a result of views from a few on here who feel that I should talk to the birds in the sky I will refrain from naming 5 players who I feel should be looked at. You can look at Lavey and Cavan Gales alone and you will get five no problems. The trials start soon and whats the use of these as the so called established players are not in these trials so what's the point for there is all ready 26 left to pick from.???.

Bray was injured & did not start against denn, he came on as a sub after about 15mins of the first half and then went off 10mins or so into the 2nd half

S reilly has been the gaels best player this year and is needed in midfield against good players like Denn dont have!! walsh has been class in the forward line... destroyed mullahoran and ballinagh this year on his own by scoring and setting up goals!!
paul brady did start the game... should have stayed in the USA to play racketball

I wasnt at the early gales games in the champ (and unless ur one of the 5 gales supporters i saw last sunday you werent either) but Walsh never destroyed any team on his own - stop kiddin youself.
