Lyng unveils backroom team

New Kilkenny hurling manager Derek Lyng will have some familiar faces in his backroom team.
Brian Cody's successor will be joined by fellow All-Ireland winners Michael Rice and Peter Barry, who also served as selectors under him when the Cats won the All-Ireland U20HC title earlier this year.
His other selectors are Peter O'Donovan and Conor Phelan, who was also part of the outgoing management. Mickey Comerford and John Murphy have been named as strength and conditioning coaches.
Rice is the holder of eight All-Ireland SHC medals, while Barry claimed Celtic Crosses in 2000, '02 and '03.
