David and Paudie Clifford were the main attractions in Castlegregory yesterday with throngs of locals and holidaymakers alike turning up to watch the All-Ireland winning Kerry brothers in club action.

Matching his 1-9 tally against Listowel Emmets in the first round, David fired in an early second-half penalty, while Paudie lined out at centre-back, as Fossa comfortably saw off Castlegregory by 2-15 to 0-10 to qualify for the Kerry junior premier quarter-finals with a game to spare.

Meanwhile, in the club SFC, six-time winners Dr Crokes face the threat of relegation once again following their narrow 0-10 to 1-6 loss away to Templenoe last Saturday.

Templenoe, who boast All-Ireland winners Killian and Adrian Spillane, Gavin Crowley and Tadhg Morley, are through to the semi-finals.

There was also a minimum margin victory for Austin Stacks against Tralee rivals Kerin's O'Rahilly's, 1-15 to 1-14.

In the other group, top-of-the-table Spa shared the spoils with Kenmare Shamrocks (0-16 to 1-13) and Dingle edged out Na Gaeil by 1-10 to 2-6.
