NFL Div 2 - 21 Like(s)

Replying To royaldunne:  "Due to a mini medical emergency with my young son didn't see second half. Just got updates on sm. Kildare deserved winners by sound of things. Totally wrong team by Meath to start. Very disappointed but that's football, we not good enough for division one if we couldn't win this game. I've been a huge supporter of Andy mcentee since he arrived, he has brought us on, but I think he has brought us as far as he can now, and now (end of Leinster) is time for a new voice and vision . I do want to thank Andy for his efforts. But all good things must come to a end. Btw did campion have a chance to draw match at end ? And was there a bust up with all the red and yellow cards ?"
Just say ye didn't see 2nd half, we don't need to know why. I'm sure if Meath had have won you would have known all about it instead of floating questions around.

Poster on here having digs at someone about bringing family into posts. Just to clear up my post, go to NFL Div2 dated 13th June, page9, regarding someone seeing end of Kildare v Meath match. I think it's explains all. Now if my post mentions family tell me where.

Meath will be missed big time. A handy 2 points for the other 7 teams.

Not many Tyrone men rushed to Croke Park to bow and shake hands with the queen. Your own Joe (hand of God) did. Was that his reward?

Replying To Sweetspot:  "I agree, but frankly I can't afford to go to Carrick and Dublin for a day each on the same weekend so selfishly, I'm gutted to have to miss one. I'd imagine this is true of many Kildare fans and families who'll have to choose. Will make for a slightly poor turnout in carrick and I'd imagine a very poor one in the Leinster Semi if most people are thinking the same way as I am about which game to go to"
I agree with you, Kildare playing the following day, perfect for double header. I was getting at the Yank for saying it would be cheaper in Carrick. Whole structure is as mess when we'll have no top grade football from early summer on.

Replying To brian:  "5 past comerford doesn't have the same ring to it as 5 past cluxton ;) I jest of course. That is still the most baffling decision made in Meath football for me. Semi in 09, Leinster in 10 and get the sack."
You and our Royal correspondent giving of about your county board getting rid of management in 2010 yet applauding them when they didn't offer Louth a replay. What do ye want? Another gift wrapped Leinster. As for match, Dublin to win in extra time.

Replying To brian:  "We'll never know so it doesn't matter. Record book shows Meath 1-12 Louth 1-10. A win i believe is what it's called. Not many were "over" with our county boards decision, most people were disgusted by the actions to remove a man from his role after what he'd done in his first two years. Good for you fancying Dublin after extra time. It doesn't fool anyone though. Most Meath supporters a realistic enough to know what the outcome will be in normal time. But you keeping banging your little toy drum there whilst you're at it."
Naw , I'm being serious, sure wasn't it your 3rds team that got beat by Mayo? Maybe I'm wrong

Replying To royaldunne:  "Congratulations to Dublin. That is the best I have ever seen you play. I don't think the 6 in a row is in much doubt. But you never know. As for Meath. ? Well we can only hope for better days ahead. Hard luck lads. It's a tough lesson. We move on and I look forward to the start of the obc. (If it is to proceed. ) Otherwise it's the league. Hon the royal"
6 in a row not in doubt you say, 3 hours ago yours were going to beat them.

Replying To jimski:  "Game fixed for 5pm in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday. Absolute joke. Total disrespect shown to both counties. If Dublin were involved it would be in Croker."
If Kildare and Tyrone players could play the guitar it wound in Croke Park.

Can't really count Leinster in 2010. 11 year anniversary coming up shortly of the hand of Joe episode.

Replying To Gaa_lover:  "To be fair Dublin have played a number underage All Ireland finals outside of Croke Park. A smaller venue will bring a better atmosphere probably cheaper ticket prices also."
To be fair it's not about the spectators it's the players.

Replying To brian:  "What was the result? 1-12 to 1-10. Why would it not count? Interesting it was your own fellow county man who gave the goal. And as has been told repeatedly he told Peter Fitzpatrick walking off the pitch that if the goal wasn't being given he was awarding a penalty. But its great to see that so many counties feel the need to take a dig at Meath. Sure i suppose in your eyes '96 doesn't count either does it?"
Of course 96 counted, no blatant cheating so why not. Just not easy reading on Meaths cv regarding 2010.

He's the scorer and Darragh is the playmaker.

Replying To LilywhiteGael:  "Well done Tyrone, a commanding performance that would grace any All-Ireland Final. Commiserations to our lads, ye did yourselves, your families, clubs and county proud today and throughout this championship, worthy Leinster Champions. Well done to Brian Flanagan and his backroom team on what he has achieved with these young men. Look forward to seeing many of them play senior for Kildare in the years ahead."
Well done to both teams for getting to an All Ireland final and Tyrone for winning. Great advertisement for our sport when lads can put on a great show yet millionaires couldn't score in 2 hours in that other sport. Well done to all from including officials. Last year Canavan took seasoned senior teams apart in championship and what he's doing now is not surprising.

Replying To royaldunne:  "Really looking forward to the game at this stage. I know the outcome is of little importance. However a win against one of the big 4 (Dublin, Kerry , Mayo, Donegal) would do the world of good fora very young team."
Said earlier Meath wouldn't beat the top 4 in Ulster, I was wrong, they wouldn't beat the top 6.

Replying To brian:  "I never applauded anyone you fool. It shouldn't be up to a county board to make a provincial councils decisions for them. As i said it was your own county man that was awarding a goal or a penalty. Let the penalty be taken, end result would've still been a goal. But we'll never know as he awarded a goal."
Since when did all penalties guarantee a goal, that's a new one to me. Meath fans back then were over with your county board's decision. Still fancy Dublin after extra time.

Replying To daytona11:  "This game would potentially have to start at 11:30 with extra time and penalties being a possibility and even at that it would be tight. Would it be fair to ask Tyrone supporters to get to Croker for that time paying a premium for the other two games even though they probably wouldn't watch them. The moaning from some of my county men is embarrassing at this stage. Get on with it."
Then drop the prices, the extra crowd would make up the difference. Stadium is open anyways. Plus all the talk about going greener yet ask Kildare people to drive twice. Is there anyone with a bit of wit in the GAA.

If governments all over the world spent as much on cancer research and other ailments we'd be better off. It's as if they don't want a cure for cancer because of the money racket on drugs.
